We are planning to establish a dedicated Foot Care Clinic for diabetic patients with foot complications at our center. Diabetes is alarmingly prevalent in Pakistan, with many patients suffering from severe complications, including foot ulcers, infections, and nerve damage, which often lead to life-threatening conditions or even amputations. Tragically, non-affording patients cannot access specialized foot care services, leaving their conditions untreated. This clinic will provide free services to such patients, supported by a trained diabetologist and podiatrist, and equipped with advanced diagnostic tools such as a Doppler machine, ABI machine, and vibration sense equipment. The estimated cost includes the purchase of equipment (approximately Rs.15 lacs), medications and consumables and staffing expenses (Rs 150000/ month).
