Future Projects

DIABETES FOOT care CLINIC

We are planning to establish a dedicated Foot Care Clinic for diabetic patients with foot complications at our center. Diabetes is alarmingly prevalent in Pakistan, with many patients suffering from severe complications, including foot ulcers, infections, and nerve damage, which often lead to life-threatening conditions or even amputations. Tragically, non-affording patients cannot access specialized foot care services, leaving their conditions untreated. This clinic will provide free services to such patients, supported by a trained diabetologist and podiatrist, and equipped with advanced diagnostic tools such as a Doppler machine, ABI machine, and vibration sense equipment. The estimated cost includes the purchase of equipment (approximately Rs.15 lacs), medications and consumables and staffing expenses (Rs 150000/ month). We urgently appeal to donors and philanthropists to support this vital initiative, ensuring timely care and preventing needless suffering and disability among the most vulnerable. Your generosity can save lives and limbs.

OBESITY CLINIC

We are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of our Obesity Clinic at our centre from June 2025.This new clinic will be led by Dr. Noor Illahi, a highly experienced and trained Endocrinologist, along with Ms. Rafia Umer, a qualified Diabetes Educator.

Personalized Diet & Exercise Plans tailored to each patient’s needs
Obesity Reduction Medications under expert medical supervision
Ongoing education and support to promote sustainable lifestyle changes
Our goal is to provide effective, evidence-based solutic 22 to help patients achieve healthy weight loss, improve metabolic health, and reduce obesity-related health risks.

FREE ANTIHYPERTENSIVE MEDICATIONS

We are planning to launch a program to provide free antihypertensive medications(Calcium channel blockers and Angiotensin Receptor Antagonists) for one month to non-affording patients at our center. Hypertension is highly prevalent in Pakistan, significantly contributing to life-threatening complications such as heart attacks, strokes, and kidney failure. Tragically, many non-affording patients cannot access these essential medications, putting their lives at serious risk. The estimated expenditure for this initiative includes the cost of medications, which is approximately Rs 150000 for a one-month supply to serve a target of 500 patients. We urgently appeal to donors and philanthropists to suppr this life-saving initiative. Your contributions will help prevent severe health complications and ensure that vulnerable individuals receive the care they deserve. Together, we can make a profound difference in the lives of those who are struggling.

CLEAN DRINKING WATER

Installation of RO Water Filtration Plant Near Hope & Faith Diabetes & Endocrinology Centre.
An initiative to install a Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filtration plant near the Hope & Faith Diabetes & Endocrinology Centre aims to provide clean and safe drinking water to the surrounding underprivileged communities. This project is crucial in preventing waterborne diseases, which are a significant health concern in the area.
The funding of 1.7 million rupees has been generously pledged by the families of Prof. Feroz Memon, Dr. Mansour Memon and Dr. Noor Illahi Memon. The work has already commenced, marking a meaningful step toward improving public health and enhancing the quality of life for those in need.

ENDOSCOPY SERVICE

We are pleased to share an update on our initiative to improve access to endoscopy services for underserved populations in Hyderabad, Pakistan. Initially, we planned to establish a fully equipped Endoscopy Unit at our charitable health center. However, due to safety concerns and the lack of surgical backup facilities, we have decided to outsource endoscopic procedures to partner centers.
We are happy to announce that this arrangement will enable us to provide 2 to 3 endoscopic procedures per week free of charge for patients who are zakat-eligible. This ensures that non-affording patients still receive the diagnostic and therapeutic care they need, despite the change in plans.
Gastrointestinal disorders are highly prevalent in Pakistan, yet the cost of endoscopic procedures remains prohibitively expensive for many. By partnering with other centers, we are committed to bridging this gap and ensuring equitable access to vital healthcare services.
We continue to seek support from donors and philanthropists to sustain this initiative and cover the costs of outsourced procedures. Your generosity can directly impact the lives of those in need, bringing them essential healthcare and the hope of a healthier future.
